Yesterday I was having a conversation with one of my friend’s friend. This ultra hipster started to basically yell at me, “You’re an artist living in Brooklyn, how can you be a conservative!?” I kind of laughed it off and quickly changed the subject because I didn’t want to embarras my friend.

Most people don’t understand politics, period. And if they did they would probably be closer to the independent line than anything. Notoriously if you say conservative, the big defining factor is being against gay marriage, and that’s what people react to. I never talk politics because I don’t understand it enough, but most people understand it even less. Not a bad guy at all.
Traveling is a good way to get a second opinion on everything.
Traveling alone is a good way to figure it out on your own.
Dave Grohl, you never dissapoint.
